
CQUniversity provides all of its students with access to their own personal CQUniversity student email account.
Once students have logged into the MyCQU Student Portal (http://mycqu.cqu.edu.au) they can use their email account to:
- Receive important updates from CQUniversity such as the Student Broadcast Emails;
- Be kept up to date on course information and what’s happening on their campus;
- Subscribe to course and Moodle discussion forum mailing lists (where available); and
- Stay in contact with their lecturer, tutor and peers.
With the introduction of Moodle this term, some students may be receiving a large amount of emails about the different Moodle forum postings for each course they are enrolled in.
Students can choose to receive these forum emails in a daily digest, so that they only get one email per day, outlining what has been posted to their courses online forums. Online instructions are available (PDF) which explain how students can turn this digest option on within Moodle.
