Orientation has Students wanting to know more about using Wireless on campus

Yesterday was the first day of Orientation week for CQUniversity’s new students.

One of the popular IT services that students learnt about was that they can use their laptop or mobile phone to access CQUniversity’s wireless network while studying on campus.

This wireless internet service is called CQUniversity Roam and is available for all students and staff working on campus.

Some of the IT services available to students studying on campus include:
  • 24 hour/ 7 day a week access to the internet, online resources and printers in CQUniversity’s computer labs.
  • Students can connect their personal laptop or mobile phone to the wireless network. Further information about using CQUniversity Roam is available on the CQUni TECHNOLOGY website.
  • They are provided with a CQUniversity student email address and their own personal computer storage space. This can be accessed both on campus and from home.
Over the next few days further IT information sessions are being held at each campus so new students can become familiar with the online systems and IT services that are available while studying at CQUniversity Australia.
