IT Support is available for Students

Students have access to a range of IT services and online resources while studying at CQUniversity.

Here are some different ways CQUniversity students can find information about the University’s IT resources and seek technical support:

1. Service information and online user guides are available from the CQUniTECHNOLOGY website: http://cqunitech.cqu.edu.au.

For example, CQUniversity Roam is a service that enables students to connect to the University’s wireless network using a laptop or mobile phone while studying on campus. The CQUniTECHNOLOGY website includes information about this service and online instructions to assist students with using CQUniversity Roam.

2. Students can use CQUniANSWERS if they are looking for immediate answers and online support regarding CQUniversity, their studies, and the different services the University provides.

• The CQUniANSWERS search bar is available from the CQUniversity homepage: http://cquni.edu.au.
  
  
• Students can type their question or keyword in the CQUniANSWERS search box. An example question is: “How do I print from my laptop?”
  
  
• Browse through the articles available. If students are still unsure or looking for further information, they can type their question in the “Answer Wizard” found the CQUniANSWERS search results screen.

3. For technical assistance and support, students also have the option of contacting the ITD Service Centre.

When on campus, students can dial extension 9233 for immediate Service Centre support. If you require assistance with viewing an ISL lecture please dial extension 2020.
