Through the combined efforts of ITD and the Division of Library Services we have been able to produce a single combined Service Desk for staff and students. This face-to-face service desk will provide both Library and IT support and service from one convenient, central location on the Ground Floor of the Rockhampton Library (building 10).
IT-related services include: general IT assistance; equipment loans (including still & video cameras, data projectors etc); assistance with wireless connectivity and laptops; password and account assistance; and software distribution.
The combined service desk will also act as the central ITD equipment pick-up/drop-off point, e.g. staff laptops that need to be serviced by ITD.
