In providing ongoing awareness and support regarding the use of these new mailing lists, we encourage staff to become familiar with the specific purposes of the various mailing lists available.
For example and as a future reference:
- General events or items of interest that impact University staff across a number of campuses should be posted to the CQUniversity General mailing list.
- Academic events that impact CQUniversity staff across a number of campuses can be communicated through the CQUniversity Academic Events mailing list. Please note the CQUniversity Academic Events mailing list is not an ‘academic staff’ mailing list. Its purpose is to communicate academic events which may include: research seminars; learning, teaching and research orientated events; and presentations.
- Alternatively, if the event or information specifically relates to local Campus staff, the content should be communicated through the appropriate Campus mailing list.
- For your information, a limited number of authorised senders are able to distribute content to the CQUniversity Official, CQUniversity Vacancies and CQUniversity Services mailing lists.
